Biomass Plant Technicians help run power plants that turn materials like wood chips, crop waste, and trash into electricity and heat. They control valves, pumps, boilers, and generators from control panels, check gauges and meters, and adjust settings to keep energy production safe and efficient. They also inspect equipment, perform basic mechanical and electrical repairs, drive heavy machines such as front-end loaders, and test things like boiler water chemistry and fuel quality to make sure the plant stays reliable and within environmental and safety standards.
